Post-Construction / Renovation Cleaning in Manhattan NYC

About Our Post-Construction / Renovation Cleaning

Post-Construction Cleaning is what happens between the renovation finishing and the home being genuinely ready to live in. Construction dust is far finer than ordinary dust — it hangs in the air, settles into every cabinet and vent, and keeps reappearing for days — so we clean in several passes, and we remove the paint splatter, adhesive, caulk smears and grout haze that the crew left behind.

Renovation dust behaves differently from household dust. It's finer, it stays airborne longer, and it settles into places you'd never think to look: inside new cabinets, on top of door frames, in the tracks of freshly installed windows, inside vents and light fixtures. Wipe it once and it's back by morning. That's why we clean in passes — a first pass to remove the bulk, a second after it has resettled, and a final detail pass — rather than a single sweep.

Alongside the dust there's residue. Paint splatter on fixtures and floors, caulk smears on tile and glass, adhesive from protective film, and the grout haze that dulls brand-new tile. Each needs a different product and a careful hand so the new finishes aren't damaged. We remove all of it, then run a full sanitizing clean of the kitchen and bathrooms so the space is ready to actually use, not just look at.

Across the Upper East Side, Yorkville and Midtown East we work on everything from a single redone bathroom to a whole-home renovation of pre-war apartments, new towers and townhouses. Every visit follows a detailed checklist, and we use the right product on every surface — marble, stone, hardwood and glass included. Because renovations run late, we keep scheduling flexible and price the job flat once we've seen photos or a short video of the finished space.
