Deep Cleaning goes past the everyday surfaces into where grime actually builds up: inside the oven and refrigerator, behind and beneath appliances, along baseboards and door frames, into tile grout, and across the mineral film that hard water leaves on shower glass and fixtures. It's a full restoration of the home, and the right starting point before a recurring plan.

In pre-war apartments, new towers and townhouses, two things drive the need for a deep clean. The first is simple accumulation: cooking grease that has migrated onto cabinet fronts and up into the hood, dust settled into vents, blinds and baseboards, and grout that has slowly darkened. The second is New York's hard water, which leaves a film on shower glass, chrome and stone that ordinary cleaning won't shift. The first needs patience and elbow grease; the second needs the right descaling product and time to work.

We work through the home systematically. Kitchen appliances inside and out — oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher — then cabinet fronts, hood and backsplash degreased. Bathrooms descaled and grout scrubbed. Then the detail work everywhere: baseboards, door frames, switch plates, window sills and tracks, blinds, ceiling fans, vents and light fixtures. Floors are done last so nothing settles on them afterwards.

Most clients around the Upper East Side book a deep clean seasonally, before a recurring plan starts, or when taking over a home someone else lived in. Every visit follows a detailed checklist, and we use the right product on every surface — marble, stone, hardwood and glass included.
